Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SpeakOS, a real-time AI speaking coach. By creating an account or using SpeakOS you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

SpeakOS provides AI-powered speaking practice: a diagnostic that builds your Communication Blueprint, guided learning paths, short booster sessions, and live voice sessions with an AI coach. The coach is artificial intelligence, not a human. Its feedback is for practice and self-improvement; it can be imperfect or inaccurate and is not professional, medical, legal, or therapeutic advice.

Your account

You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your login credentials secure — you are responsible for activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Plans and payments

• Free tier. Signing up is free and includes the diagnostic, your blueprint, and the free starter path.
• One-time purchases. Individual paths and boosters can be bought outright. Payment is processed by PayChangu; access is granted once the payment is confirmed.
• Subscriptions. The Starter plan is billed on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Pricing changes. We may change prices, but changes never apply retroactively to purchases you have already made.

Refunds

If a one-time purchase isn’t right for you, email support@speakos.com within 7 days of the purchase and we will refund it, provided you have completed no more than two days of the path. Subscription payments already made are not refunded when you cancel, but you keep access for the period you paid for. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable law.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it; no using it to harass or harm others; no impersonation; no scraping or reselling access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

You own what you say in your sessions. You grant us the limited licence needed to process your audio and store transcripts so the service can work — coaching, progress tracking, and your growth history. See the Privacy Policy for details on how session data is handled.

Our content

SpeakOS, including its lessons, learning paths, coaching personas, and software, is owned by us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use it while these terms are in effect.

Disclaimers and liability

SpeakOS is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific outcomes from practice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using SpeakOS or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, and will refund unused one-time purchases if we close your account without cause.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malawi.

Changes

If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use SpeakOS after that means you accept the updated terms.
